PROCAL was created in 1999 by Saïd Benmedjahed. Located in Lingolsheim (67380) in the outskirts of Strasbourg, we develop 3D CAD software that mainly aims to help companies such as facade builders, design offices or industrialists to design layout plans and cladding drawings in an optimised way for the building envelope, structural work and finishing work. We have chosen to develop our software in an AUTOCAD environment and compatible with BIM.
Life was not always as shiny as it is today and as we admit: "In the beginning, we learned a lot from our mistakes". These "mistakes" have forged us and it is thanks to this close collaboration with our customers who, through their requests, have allowed us to advance and continuously improve our offers. As our software has become more sophisticated, the team has grown and we have recruited engineers, developers and architects to stay on top of the technology. Software development was not always the core of our business, we started by selling hardwares.
We realised the opportunity and advantages of software over hardware. Software is more in line with our vision of innovation: constant improvement focused on our customers' needs. We wanted to provide our customers with real added value, which is why software has become our core business. It allows us to incorporate new functionalities and features to meet the new challenges of the construction industry, which we could not offer as a simple reseller.
As you can imagine, the barriers to entry in the CAD/BIM software field are high and discourage most companies. Not us. However, this venture would not have been possible without the support of our partners. In particular, we would like to thank :
